Multiagent Corporate Security Monitoring System

The Client worked with Apriorit on development of the product for remote computer investigation as for corporate security norm compliance (email databases and chat logs parsing, tracking files with sensitive information, monitoring for illegal content, etc.) for 2 years.
The developed product had a significant market success and so the client decided to extend this product line with a product of the same basic functionality but with the client-server architecture performing monitoring of the corporate network in real time.
Development team proposed the new flexible smart architecture where all existing features were integrated and adapted. Project also offered the new functional tasks and some original new features, first of all concerning file monitoring and management, were implemented.

Clipboard, Processes, and Temporary File Protection SDK for DLP Product

One of the India software market leaders started development of the new DLP system. When basic architecture was developed, the company initiated research of the ways to increase competitive benefits of the solution, create additional data protection levels and program self-protection modules. The idea to engage external experts was good in several aspects. First, it would allow the team to use the new expertise and get independent valuation of the solution. Second, it would allow the company to conduct development simultaneously in 2 teams thus reducing product time to market.
Specialists of Client and Apriorit composed and discussed the list of possible vulnerabilities and corresponding solutions. The pilot stage was about specified process monitoring and blocking for application self-protection. Two other stages were even more challenging: universal clipboard protection and temporary file encryption/decryption on-the-fly.

Virtualization for Mobile Devices
Client: Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI)
Country: South Korea
The task of ETRI was to implement the possibility to switch between 2 instances of Android OS running independently on the same device. Before this project, the client had never outsourced development or research. This project became the first pilot project of Apriorit for ETRI and it was really challenging.
Our team made completely working solution in 6 person-months. The solution drew interest of the big market players just after release. At the moment, ETRI approaches such top hardware manufacturers as Samsung, LG, etc. to commercialize it.
PC Solution for Mobile Device Data Synchronization

This project was started by an US-based company that decided to enter the new market segment in 2003. It included a number of inner challenges related both to the technical difficulties and significant project duration.
The project key to success was - and still is - the efficient project team. Team members had to possess rare skills, in particular intensive Reverse Engineering, C++ and .NET knowledge, work together on the common prototype, and then develop and maintain the solution. To be successful, the product had to have a consistent architecture and robust core, so the company needed really all-in-one team.That was Apriorit provided the Client with.
Fast product release, which had required considerably less costs, helped the company to hit the market and become one of the world leaders in this segment. At the moment, the product is in Top 5 market leaders and is one of the most frequently updated solutions, always up-to-date supporting a wide range of modern, popular, and legacy devices.

System Rollback Solution
Client: Fractalia
Country: Spain
Fractalia was participating in the big project of deployment of the international network of kiosks - specialized and universal Internet access points situated at the public places like airports or trading molls. The question of software fault tolerance was on the agenda. So a challenging project appeared: to develop a stand-alone application to make stable system state disk images, monitor changes, and than restore system to the normal state if required. Apriorit expertise in low-level work with disk and system perfectly matched the task.
Advanced Backup System

VisionWorks Solutions had a backup solution that had got a good market response. According to the customer requests, the team prepared a list of product improvements and new features, in particular features of backup and restore of various data types, including databases and locked files. Also, it was planned to integrate some advanced technologies, like VSS (Volume Snapshot Service or Volume Shadow Copy Service or Shadow Copy).
Apriorit provided an experienced team that successfully fulfilled the project. Initially chosen plugin strategy allowed to organize predictable and client-priorities oriented process where quick end user response had a great influence on the feature lists.
Work with Locked Files for Backup Systems

VWSolutions, backup and restore system vendor, was trying to find the way to provide the most reliable and up-to-date backup, in particular when working with exclusively locked files. Started as a one week long fixed price project aimed to satisfy customer request and help VWSolutions to close the sale, the developed and enhanced solution in several months became the bestseller. Several years of research, improvement and technical support made this product the leading one in the client backup solution range as well as created the underlying technology for more powerful and competitive solutions.
