Q2 2008: Apriorit Releases the New Mind2Chart v. 1.3

We are glad to announce the release of the new Mind2Chart Version 1.3.

When designing Mind2Chart v.1.3 we used much our user and reader expectations. Surely all of our active users will be provided with the free copy of the new product.

New Features:

- Coloring Tasks and Color Synchronization.

Task bar at the M2C pane can be colored in the color of the text, lines or fill of the corresponding topic.

- Master Schedule.

Users can define holidays and workdays, the number of work-hours per day for a team or teams that work on the project. This feature takes into account national and local holidays and special business conditions creating a custom master schedule.

- Advanced Resource Parameters: Individual Schedule and Cost.

The user can now define the individual schedule for each resource item. This feature, for example, takes into account worker leave. Users can also set the cost in increments of one working hour for each resource item. Additional resource information such as email and notes is also available.

- Total Cost Sheet.

A new report about project total cost has been added. The user can now obtain information about the cost of all tasks added to Mind2Chart and the total project cost. These values are counted by means of resource parameters. Similar to other reports the Total Cost Sheet feature provides data in MS Excel.

- Automatic Task Alignment.

This common project management tool has now been added to Mind2Chart. The tasks with nonzero cost are automatically reorganized in project schedule in such a way that none of them are overloaded, i.e. each resource item works no more than is defined in its individual schedule.

Apriorit releases the new AutomateIT! OpenSource 0.7

Today ApriorIT’s professionals released the new version of AutomateIT! - an open-source solution that automates the integration of OpenOffice with the existing software which exports reports or other data to Microsoft Office.

You can download AutomateIT! 0.0.7 from SourceForge.net page.

The new 0.7 alpha works on Windows Vista. There are such changes:

  • Installation is added.
  • Log creation is added. Now if user has some problems when exporting data than he can send log file to the Support and it will be fixed. Log is saved to the directory where AutomateIT! is installed.
  • Bugs with ExcelClone and WordClone are fixed.
  • Version has passed check on compatibility with such program as «Íàëîãîïëàòåëüùèê ÞË».
